Dolphins and Star Tyreek Hill Agree to Massive New Adjusted Deal
A day after NFL players officially rated Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyree Hill as the No. 1 rated player in the entire league, the Dolphins have agreed to a new adjusted deal with the highly-touted speedster.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport, “The #Dolphins and star WR Tyreek Hill, the No. 1 player in the NFL Top 100 list, has agreed to a new contract to properly compensate him. He gets $90M over the next 3 years with $65M guaranteed, per me and @CameronWolfe. That brings the 4 year total of fully guaranteed money to $106.5M. Deal negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus and Jason Rosenhaus.”
The Dolphins and Hill have been in constant contact about an adjusted deal that would make him closer to one of the highest-paid receivers in the league, and both parties have now come to an agreement on that adjusted deal.
Through the next three year years, Hill will receiver $90 million, with $65 of that being guaranteed. After securing 1,700+ yards in back-to-back seasons, the Dolphins have awarded Hill with a new deal to keep him in-house for the next three seasons.
Hill has been one of the most dynamic players in the NFL the past two seasons and in his entire career. However, after a blockbuster deal sent Hill to the Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs, he appeared to up his receiving game even more.
Ever since Hill arrived in Miami, he exclaimed that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was the “most accurate” quarterback he had ever played with. That was clearly the case as his first season in 2022 saw him secure 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns en route to being nominated for Offensive Player of the Year, league MVP, and landing an All-Pro and Pro Bowl honor.
The 2023 season saw Hill emerge even more as an unstoppable threat. He lead the league in receiving yards with 1,799 and 13 touchdowns. He once again was nominated for Offensive Player of the Year and league MVP, while receiving another All-Pro and Pro Bowl honor.
Hill has been a shining force on the Dolphins and has been one of the biggest advocates for Tagovailoa receiving a new contract. That occurred on July 26 when the Dolphins and Tagovailoa agreed to a four-year, $212.4 million extension.
Hill spoke on the contract recently, calling it “the best day ever.” Though he has been the biggest cheerleader for Tagovailoa, that can now be reversed, as the Dolphins have now locked in Hill for the next three years.
The Dolphins also extended Jaylen Waddle in May with a three-year, $84.75 contract extension. The offensive attack for the Dolphins has been top-tier, and the organization has now locked in three of its best players for the next few seasons.
