WWE Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Makes Shocking Return at Bad Blood
WWE Bad Blood 2024 saw a main event for the ages, teaming Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes with his greatest rival, Roman Reigns, against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of the new Bloodline.
It genuinely felt surreal seeing Reigns back in the ring, even more so seeing him work with Rhodes.
However, another moment proved to be even more surprising.
After successfully defeating the Bloodline and subsequently fending them off with the help of Jimmy Uso, Reigns and Rhodes had a moment of respect between themselves and celebrated their well-fought victory.
However, this was cut short when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s music hit and the final boss made his way to the stage, more stoic than ever.
Johnson stood their quietly, holding his personal championship belt, as Reigns and Rhodes stared on. He then counted with his fingers, and proceeded to draw his thumb against his throat.
Only time will tell if this was intended for Reigns, Rhodes, or both.
Johnson returning has serious implications for the Bloodline, especially given his status on the board of TKO, the company that owns WWE.
Johnson began his entertainment career as a professional wrestler, debuting as Rocky Maivia in the then-WWF. While he would find some success as that character, it would be nothing compared to what would follow.
Johnson soon joined the Nation of Domination faction and changed his name to The Rock. Despite being presented as a villain, The Rock would quickly become one of the most popular wrestlers in the company.
The Rock would go on to some of the most memorable feuds in WWE history with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Mankind, The Big Show, Triple H, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan.

The Rock won countless titles in the WWE, including the WWE Championship (eight times), WCW Championship (two times), WWF Intercontinental Championship (two times), and the WWF Tag Team Championship (five times).
The Rock also won the Royal Rumble in 2000 and the Deadly Games WWF Championship Tournament. He is the sixth Triple Crown Champion in WWE history.
After becoming one of the most successful stars in Hollywood, Johnson made his WWE return in an attempt to help Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Now, The Rock is back, and there’s no telling what he might do.
