Hysterics As Wife Reveals Bizarre Items Husband Packed for House Move

A woman from Los Angeles has gone viral after revealing the strange and unexpected items her husband packed during their recent house move in a TikTok video.

The clip starts with Amber Wallin, 33, announcing “things my husband didn’t just throw away,” showcasing bizarre choices that left the internet in hysterics.

“My husband and I just moved into our new apartment, and he packed the kitchen,” Wallin told Newsweek. “We’ve been (playfully) arguing all week, because I prefer to declutter first, while he had a ‘just throw it in the box’ approach.”

In her video Wallin first holds up a near-empty bottle of Aperol. Appearing in the frame from behind her, her husband, 34-year-old Benjamin, justifies his decision to keep it and says, “That’s a whole shot, Amber.”

Next, she pulls out a piece of cheese (complete with mold) from a Tupperware container and then other head-scratchers, such as a single strawberry, an almost empty tub of sour cream and a bread bun that’s seen better days.

After showing a partially full ketchup bottle Wallin says: “I don’t care, toss it. We gotta whole bottle in the fridge.”

She told Newsweek that this was one of those moments she questioned how she and husband Benjamin had made it this far in their relationship.

“We are so fundamentally different already. Racially, I’m a southerner; he’s from Long Island; he was home-schooled; I went to public school my whole life. We’ve been together 10 years (married five), but unpacking the box, I thought, ‘who is this stranger in my home?’,” she said.

Unpacking the kitchen turned into a series of amusing discoveries for the 33-year-old.

“I was shocked to find that many things he packed could have easily been thrown away,” she added.

Since it was posted on September 26, Wallin’s clip has gained over 350,000 views and hundreds of comments from users laughing at Benjamin’s antics.

“Marriage is wild” one user wrote, while another commented: “The single strawberry really took it over the edge lol.”

The strawberry also bemused Wallin.

“A single frozen strawberry in a bag being placed on a moving truck feels like a science fiction novel,” she told Newsweek.
