Inside Cruise Ship’s ‘Most Expensive Suite,’ Complete With Balcony Hot Tub

An accommodations manager on a cruise ship has shown TikTok users what the most luxurious room on the boat looks like, spotlighting some of its standout features.

Andreas Cruceros is a hotel director with MSC Cruises, managing the accommodations on the MSC Seaside. In a viral TikTok video, which has received 2.4 million views, he takes viewers through the Royal Suite to show just how luxurious it really is.

In the clip, Cruceros tells viewers: “Wow, boys and girls, look at this booth.”

As he enters, viewers see a spacious living area, complete with comfy couches and a big-screen TV, before they are taken into the chic bathroom and the coffee station. Drinks and beverages are complimentary for the suite’s guests.

Cruceros, who says he is in “charge of all hotel operations onboard the cruise ships,” told Newsweek that he spends three to four months at a time on these ships, then returns home to the Spanish island of Mallorca for two months before he leaves again.

He told Newsweek that staying in this suite for a week could cost up to $5,000.

He also shared a longer video on YouTube that shows the room in more detail, including the balcony that connects the bedroom to the lounge area.

Cruises have become a popular vacation choice for a growing number of people around the world. Statista says cruises make up “one of the most profitable segments of leisure tourism.”

The number of people boarding cruise ships has been growing year over year and is expected to continue to do so in the near future. Statista reports that in 2019, 29.7 million passengers around the world boarded cruise ships. That grew to 35.7 million by 2024 and is expected to increase to 39.4 million by 2027.

People took to the comments section of Cruceros’ video to share their thoughts on the luxury cruise cabin.

“I want to take a cruise on that boat,” said @corazóndetrueno.

Dololres Perez commented: “Well it’s not that bad, the room is very normal.”

“Well, it doesn’t seem so luxurious to be honest, it’s quite simple,” said @Barbaro_play.
