Jeopardy! has temporarily paused filming due to the deadly L.A. wildfires.
On Monday, January 13, Deadline reported that the beloved game show, which is filmedat Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, had shut down production for this week.
The show, hosted by Ken Jennings, was supposed to be shot between Wednesday, January 15, and Friday, January 17 — those dates have been rescheduled. According to the outlet, the next date the show was set to film was Monday, January 27, but there is no word on if that will happen.

Many game shows film in L.A., including The Price Is Right, which, per Deadline, also paused production this week to ensure the safety of the cast, crew, and live studio audience. While Wheel of Fortune films on the same lot in Culver City as Jeopardy! it is unclear if they have stopped shooting.
The Southern California wildfires began on Tuesday, January 7, and have resulted in over 100,000 residents of Los Angeles being ordered to evacuate. A-listers like Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, and Leighton Meester are just a handful of the celebrities who have lost their homes along with 1,000s of families across the city.

Thankfully, Jeopardy! fans have had plenty of content to tune into lately as two spin-off shows are currently airing —Celebrity Jeopardy!, which airs on ABC and is hosted by Jennings, and Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Colin Jost, available for streaming on Prime Video.
This week’s episode of Celebrity Jeopardy! will come out on Wednesday, January 15, and will see Reba alum Melissa Peterman, celebrity astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Nobody Wants This actress Jackie Tohn competing against each other. In last week’s episode, Max Greenfield from New Girl, Grey’s Anatomy actress Camilla Luddington, and comedian W. Kamu Bell all faced off against each other, with Bell emerging victorious. The celebrities are competing to win $1 million for a charity of their choosing.
