How Taylor Swift Honored Boyfriend Travis Kelce At London Eras Tour

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors

Taylor Swift made her admiration for boyfriend Travis Kelce crystal clear during her night one Eras Tour concert at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The “Shake It Off” singer included a special tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who attended the show on Friday, June 21, with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.

In a delightful nod to her beau, the 34-year-old pop star drew back an imaginary bow and arrow during her performance of “So High School,” seemingly mimicking an archer. The gesture referenced one of Travis’s signature celebration moves that he does during touchdowns at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs home base.

In another nod to the NFL star, Swift and her backup dancers performed the swag-surf while seated on the bleachers, a dance often used by the Chiefs to celebrate victories.

In true Travis fashion, his reaction was priceless. A video shared on TikTok later that night showed the NFL star, who is also 34, singing along with a huge smile on his face as he watched his girlfriend tear up the stage and perform the hit Tortured Poets Department track.

Swifties began commenting on the video, swooning over the couple and their romance. “This is about me” – trav 😁,” said one fan, while mentioning Travis’s sweet dance moves, “I love how he pointed at himself when she said I know Aristotle😂😭.”

The Kelce brothers attended Swift’s show after visiting France for a performance of their own. Jason and Travis attended the Cannes Lions festival and recorded their New Heights podcast live from Stagewell Sports Beach on Thursday, June 20. In the episode, the brothers talked about how Swift has positively affected their podcast.

“We do have a lot of new football fans coming in,” Travis explained, mentioning how they try to explain the game in a more accessible way. “So not just talking football like we would in the locker room, trying to, like, necessarily dumb it down or make it more simple so that everybody can follow along and still enjoy the show.”
