Camera Captures How Woman’s Six Cats React When She Falls Into Deep Sleep

An owner who fell into a deep slumber had not one, not two, but six cats look after her until she woke up.

TikTok user @catsoftiktok_romina6cats said this does not happen frequently, but on a few occasions it occurred she went into a deep sleep. It is hard for people to be woken up from a deep slumber, which could be the reason why her cats were concerned.

“My poor cats were worried and stayed with me like this until I woke up,” the text reads on the January 23 TikTok video.

The camera caught her cats sitting on her and by her side, protecting her and making sure she was all right. One even took matters into its own paws and started making biscuits, which to some looked like a cat’s version of CPR.

The cats were just being extra cautious. They didn’t want anything to happen to their food supplier.

The owner told Newsweek that waking up to the cats right there in her face did not scare her in the slightest.

“I was confused as they don’t sleep on me like that,” she said. “I’m used to having my cats all around me whilst I sleep. Most times, one of them especially wakes me up.

She said one of the cats likes to wake her up in the middle of the night because he wants to snuggle.

The video had nearly 370,000 views as of Wednesday. Viewers were stunned by the love and loyalty these cats showed to their owner. Not that cats aren’t loyal, but they tend to march to the beat of their own drum.

“Aww the one was doing CPR while the other checked for the heartbeat,” said one TikTok user.

Other viewers shared their similar experiences with cats. “My cats did this when I was sleeping while having a nightmare and can’t move my body. I woke up and they were all over me,” wrote one.

Or maybe it is all an act, another wrote. “My five do this when they are hungry. I wake up to them all trying to play it casual until I move then they sprint downstairs.”

There’s got to be a method to their madness.
