Chris Olave’s Brother Slams Saints Organization After Scary Injury
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave took a nasty hit in their Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers and was carted off the field.
Quarterback Derek Carr threw a pass toward Olave that resulted in the receiver getting hit hard by two Carolina defenders.
This has resulted in multiple people calling out Carr and the Saints as a whole, including Olvae’s brother.
Josh Olave shared an update on X that Chris had called him and that he was “up and active. An X user shared the post, saying, “Might be time to have that ‘is it worth it?’ talk.”
“Ain’t worth it in Nola, I’ll tell you that,” Josh Olave replied.
This has matched the sentiment of countless people online, including former Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas and former Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III.
“All right people, that’s it,” Griffin said in a video he shared on X. “I’ve had enough. Quarterbacks are throwing way too many hospital balls in the NFL now.”
“We’ve got to stop throwing hospital balls. Not just for our wide receivers but for the game and their longterm health with their families. Come on, guys, we gotta be better.”
