Is Facebook Down? Users Met with Account Currently Unavailable Error
Facebook users reported problems accessing the website Tuesday, with complaints spiking across the U.S. and elsewhere.
Downdetector, a website that tracks service outages, showed a surge in reports from users saying the site was not loading properly or was unavailable.
Most reports indicated problems with the website, while others cited issues logging in or viewing the news feed, according to the tracking site.
Meta, Facebook’s parent company, has not immediately commented on the reported disruption.
This is a breaking news story. Updates to follow.
