Trump’s Truth Social Followers Turn On Him
President Donald Trump is facing backlash from his followers on his social media platform Truth Social after he posted a message railing against conservative commentators Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones.
In a post on Thursday, Trump described them as “stupid people,” “NUT JOBS” and “TROUBLEMAKERS” after the formerly Trump-aligned commentators criticized his actions in the Iran war.
Several of Trump’s followers criticized the president for appearing to turn on the four commentators despite their long history of supporting him.
One user with the username Deportationnumber wrote: “Trump just going against everyone that fought for him to win, just because of the Epstein files and being at war with iran for israel.”
The user said that as a Trump voter they felt “so betrayed” and said about the commentators: “They didn’t leave MAGA, MAGA left them. MAGA left me too.”
Trump has faced mounting backlash over the Iran war from within his own base, with the conflict proving deeply contentious and polling showing it is broadly unpopular with Americans.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
