Why Bubba Wallace Missed Daniel Suarez’s Big Brazilian Wedding – Revealed

When celebrated NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez tied the knot with Julia Piquet in Brazil during the season pause for the Olympics, many fans expected to see a star-studded guest list from the racing world. However, the absences were conspicuous, notably that of Bubba Wallace and his wife, Amanda.

Over the past few weeks, NASCAR had briefly slowed down as drivers took some time off. While Tyler Reddick opted for quieter family moments back home, Suarez celebrated his nuptials internationally in Brazil, where Julia’s family is based.

However, as social media buzzed with pictures and updates from the wedding, some observers quickly noted the absence of fellow drivers, including Bubba Wallace.

The reason, as it turns out, was grounded in personal circumstances back home, stemming from family news just as good. Both Bubba Wallace and his wife were invited to the celebration, but with Amanda pregnant, the couple would struggle to fly.

Watching the questions starting to swirl on social media, Julia was quick to put out the fire that was starting around the subject, reposting on her Instagram story:

“My dear friends @bubbawallace and @amandaaawallace were invited but my girl is pregnant and travelling far away on a plane isn’t easy. They were with us in spirit!!!”

Daniel Suarez and his new wife Julia are now pacing their lives around the racing calendar. Despite diving back into the competitive world, they plan to delay their honeymoon in Japan until the racing season concludes.

Julia shared her excitement about their upcoming plans:

“We’re really looking forward to going there. Involves settling into our new home, getting back on the NASCAR schedule, hopefully fighting for a championship and just continuing to do what we’re doing. We’ll stay strong as a couple, grow together and move forward in life.”

As NASCAR returns from a brief pause due to the 2024 Paris Olympics, the excitement ramps up with the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway. Fans can look forward to Kyle Larson, fresh off his fourth win of the season, as a top contender on this historic track where he already secured a victory earlier in the year.

The race weekend kicks off on Saturday, August 10, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and culminates on Sunday, August 11, with the highly anticipated Cook Out 400. Fans can tune in to catch all the action on FS1, NBC Sports App, and USA Network, with additional coverage available on Fubo.

As NASCAR lights up its engines for the upcoming event, stories including Daniel Suarez’s continuation with Trackhouse Racing and leadership changes at TRD, unfold.

Richmond Raceway officials are also keeping a close eye on the weather due to potential hurricane threats, ensuring that safety remains a top priority for all involved.
